BIOGRAPHY

Theta Naught is a purely instrumental, improvisational band as curious as stalactites. Their amazing internal flow of intellect lends to progressive flowing beats infused with concrete energy.

The alpha of Theta occurred in Salt Lake City in 2002 when a group of musicians/friends assembled, The Naughtians pursuit of higher education is evident through their brilliant use of mathematical equations and sound declensions.

Each beat played by Darren on the drums is the core of the Naughtian sound: exhilarating, sonorous modulations impregnated with gambit movement. Besides developing new binomial theorems and solving inverse trigonometric functions, Darren is working on a Masters in computer engineering.

Greg's schizophrenic lap-slide playing style reflects his Baccalaureate degree in Psychology. By incorporating his surroundings he creates a pulsing symbiotic technique. Greg builds time machines from discarded refrigerators in his free time.

When Ryan is away from quantum theories of gravity he speaks Japanese and works on his PhD in mechanical engineering. The international reputation of his bass-lines is attributed to his use of Thornian spacetime framework where he fastidiously blends depth with innovation.

Once Cassie realized that electromagnetism and signal processing were child's play, she joined Theta Naught. Her adept cello playing draws influence from Engineer greats such as William Gilbert — reflected through her statically charged intensity — yet her stylistic impressionism is a belletristic vignette.

Bri thought the highlight of her career was at age 11 playing back-up for Tori Amos, but she discovered a new world when Theta Naught invited her to join them. Her clairvoyant harp playing supersedes classical works and gives new meaning to harmonic progression.

The euphonic chords played by Jared foster the ambrosial Theta Naught sound. Jared a.k.a. "genius" received an invitation last week from Tony Blair to assist the European Union with political decisions. He uses Reganomics to imperialize and reverse negative supply shock in real-life RISK and also pursues his PhD in Finance.

Peter's cello playing is the axiomatic substratum for Theta Naught. He has a degree in Linguistics and his ability to breakdown and analyze complex languages is proven through his cataclysmic, yet harmonious musical talent.
